                                     蒙脱石不影响禽畜对营养元素的吸附
        蒙脱石比表面积是常规粉末的四十倍。既然蒙脱石有如此强的吸附力，那么它是否也会吸附肠道内的营养元素，如维生素，而具有副作用呢？然而，在研究蒙脱石因吸附营养元素而产生副作用的实验中发现，添加占饮食重量25%的蒙脱石没有出现副作用，当添加量增大到饮食总量的50%时才出现影响健康的副作用。
